Senior Automation Tester( Remote)

Roles and Responsibilities :
• Candidate should be able to work as Senior Automation Tester/lead.
• Candidate should be able to write UI and API automation scripts and able to debug and fix the scripts if there are any issues.
• Co-ordination between onsite and offshore.
• Communicate with customer and business.
• Candidate should be responsible for the Primary Releases.
• Candidate should be able to coach Junior- and Intermediate-level Scrum Testers as needed.
• Checking for product scalability, reliability, consistency, and performance.
• Participating in design and architectural discussions.
• Performing high-class debugging

Qualification/Skillset:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent related work experience.
• 9 + years of development and/or test automation experience. Experience in network programming and/or developing/designing large software systems.
• Excellent programming skills in JAVA / JavaScript
• Expertise in Writing, Enhancing and Executing automated scripts for test cases using Selenium WebDriver
• Experience in Data Automation
• Experience in Webservice Automation (ReadyAPI / SOAPUI).
• Extensive Experience in Object Identification using XPath or other object locators.
• Good Experience in Unit Test frameworks like JUnit, TestNG and build tool like Maven.
• Experience in BDD Automation using Cucumber.
• Experience in version control tool like SVN/GitHub. Experience in CI tool like Jenkins/Bamboo.
• Good Communication Skill.

Must have Skills:

Java/JavaScript programming.

Test script/test library creation.

Rally or Atlassian suite or Quality Center.

Soap UI or Ready API Automation.

Selenium WebDriver / Mocha.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $90,000 – $110,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

General Description

Entry Level Test Engineer

The Test Engineer supports the Verification and Validation (V&V) activities of New Product Development (NPD) and Sustaining projects by reviewing Requirements, developing Test Cases, linking Test Cases to Requirements, developing Test Plans and Test Executions, executing tests, and generating coverage and traceability reports. The Test Engineer also supports the design and development of tests, test fixtures, and test automation. This role will perform detailed product analysis and hands-on product testing to verify and validate system and customer requirements.

Major Job Functions:
• Review requirements for completeness (clarity, testability, and proper linkage to Test Cases) and provide input to stakeholders including System Design Engineers and Product Managers.
• Work with product development teams to ensure Sub-system Requirement traceability and Test Case coverage.
• Understand Customer and System Requirements and develop corresponding verification and validation Test Cases with proper linkage.
• Create Test Plans and Test Executions in tools including Jira.
• Carryout hands-on product testing by executing Test Cases, capturing and documenting test results and writing test reports.
• Generate Coverage and Traceability Reports in Jira to track progress in Requirement traceability and test case coverage and overall testing progress.
• Support the design and development of tests, test fixtures, and test automation.
• Maintain existing certifications, and support preparations for audits and participate in audits.
• Prioritize and manage work requests in an organized and timely manner.

Required Qualifications:
• Associate degree in Electronics, BSEE or CS is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in testing electromechanical products.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with sustaining and new product development projects, and strong working knowledge of product development processes particularly verification and validation testing.
• Understand requirements in safety and performance standards and apply that knowledge in the evaluation of a product via technical analysis and/or testing.
• Follow department operating procedures and have an open attitude for continuous improvement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to clearly present data and articulate test results.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
• Perform essential job functions safely, and work within established company guidelines.
• Experience in requirement, test, and issue management tools such as R4J, Xray, and Jira.

About The Job

The Tepa Companies are seeking a GIS Analyst-Junior to support a wide range of projects which are critical to the mission of the Directorate of Public Works (DPW) GIS Department at Fort Carson. Responsibilities include the creation of custom mapping products based on client data specifications, maintaining and updating geospatial mapping databases, spatial data analysis using a variety of GIS software and tools, and the development and execution of automated production workflows. Staff should possess a thorough working knowledge of the Esri ArcGIS suite of products for the development of a wide variety of geospatial mapping products outstanding attention to detail, and proven problem-solving skills. Because this position will be responsible for mission-critical geospatial data development in an often fast-paced environment, staff shall also display professionalism in interfacing with clients and customers under pressure, and possess strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Job Functions:
• Daily utilization of ArcPro 2.x / 3.x ArcMap Suite 10.x and ArcMap Extensions, such as Data Interoperability, Network Analyst, Publisher, and Data Reviewer, for the production of mapping products.
• Ability to produce spatial data sets and mapping layers.
• Support the maintenance of geospatial data in the current Spatial Data Standards for Facilities, Infrastructure, and Environment (SDSFIE) Version 4.0 database structure.
• Creation of custom GIS maps, scripts, tools, and applications for various data processing requirements.
• Ability to engage customers to determine requirements, propose solutions, and assist with implementation.
• Develop and modify automated map and KML production workflows.
• Demonstrated experience with GIS support for Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and the ability to support for extended periods.
• Ability to possess a government-issued Common Access Card (CAC) or pass a background check to obtain a CAC.
